Frequently Asked Questions

What times are you available for an appointment?

We prefer to meet with you Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., however, if this time is not convenient for you, call to set an appointment and we will be happy to accommodate your schedule.

How long does it take to complete a custom piece?

Generally, when we have an approval on the drawing, David will have a wax model ready for you to see in two weeks. Once the wax is approved, he will cast the wax, finish and set the stones, have the final appraisal completed and be ready to deliver in about another two weeks.

Can you use my diamond/stone in the new design?

We are more than happy to use your stones.  If it is a new purchase, please bring the appraisal and paperwork on the stones with you.  If these are from an existing piece or family stones, again , please bring any appraisal or paperwork you have about the stones with you to our first meeting.  We will have all the stones pre appraised (weighed, measured, color/clarity and valued) before we set them in wax – so when the piece is finished the appraiser will have the correct information.

What quality of diamonds do you use?

Depending on how the stone is going to be used, we favor ideal cut diamonds, GIA certified.  The size, color and clarity will depend on your budget.

How long does shipping take?

We send registered mail from the US Post Office because it is the most secure but it can take a bit longer. So shipping can take as little as one day in-state and as long as one week for out-of-state.

Is there a local pick up for the pieces for sale on your website?

Yes, we would love to have you come to the studio to pick up your purchase.  Once you have been here you can call us, when you are going to be in the neighborhood, to let us clean and care for your jewelry.  We look forward to your visit.
